Vilma Santos-Recto Seeks Return as Batangas Governor, with Sons Running for Key Provincial Posts

Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto’s re-election bid for the Province of Batangas has generated excitement among her supporters. She officially filed her candidacy at the COMELEC office on October 3, 2024, backed by her sons, Luis Philippe “Lucky” Manzano, who is running for Vice Governor, and Ryan Recto, who seeks a congressional seat for the 6th District. Together, they aim to continue their family’s legacy of service to Batangas under the “One Batangas” coalition.

Santos-Recto’s platform focuses on the HEARTS agenda: Health, Education, Agriculture, Roads and Infrastructure, Tourism, and Security.
