Mekeni Food Corporation has issued an urgent advisory to the public and its valued customers regarding the presence of fraudulent individuals posing as official sales agents across various parts of Luzon.
These impostors have reportedly been targeting retailers and sari-sari store owners, tricking them into purchasing unauthorized or counterfeit Mekeni products.
“We take this matter seriously as it not only impacts our business but also jeopardizes the trust of our loyal customers and partners,” said Paulo Orfinada, Head of Sales at Mekeni Food Corporation. “We urge everyone to remain vigilant and conduct transactions only with verified Mekeni representatives.”
To safeguard retailers and consumers, Mekeni encourages the public to verify the identity of sales agents by contacting their hotline at +639 45 458 0000 local 3707 or visiting the company’s official website. The company also emphasized that their authorized personnel will never ask for any payment in advance before delivering products.
Mekeni is calling on anyone who encounters suspicious individuals claiming to represent the company to report such incidents immediately to local government units (LGUs) or appropriate authorities. Prompt reporting is crucial in preventing further cases of fraud.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to protecting customers and ensuring the integrity of its product distribution. Mekeni urges the public to stay cautious and to purchase only from legitimate and verified representatives.
