The endorsement of the Aragones-Perez tandem garnered widespread support from political leaders across diverse regions, as demonstrated by the mass oath-taking ceremony held at the Palacios Event Center in San Miguel, San Pablo City, Laguna.

In an interview, Board Member Pewee Perez expressed optimism about the prospects of the Akay National Political Party, emphasizing the synergy between the party’s leadership and its broader support base, including the Akay ni Sol Party-list.

“Uniting under the leadership of Governor Sol Aragones, alongside the Akay ni Sol Party-list, will ensure the continuity of Governor Sol’s programs, such as providing educational opportunities to all students, regardless of their academic standing,” Perez remarked in Filipino.

Highlighting the importance of good governance and the fight against corruption, Perez outlined his vision for development projects, particularly the construction of farm-to-market roads, aimed at enhancing business opportunities and improving the quality of life in the 3rd and 4th districts of the province.

Pledging support for health and wellness programs targeting marginalized sectors, including Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and transport groups, Perez underscored his commitment to serving the needs of the community.

With a track record as a three-term City Councilor of Calamba and currently serving his third term as a board member of the 2nd district of the province, Perez expressed readiness for the new responsibility of vice governor. “I am a steadfast advocate and promoter of Governor Sol’s programs, and I look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts for the betterment of Laguna,” Perez concluded.
