As part of his commitment to improving the city’s healthcare system, newly elected Biñan City Mayor Gel Alonte announced that he will hold regular office hours at Biñan City Hospital to personally oversee its operations and ensure the needs of patients and healthcare staff are met.
During his inaugural speech, Mayor Alonte emphasized the importance of providing quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare services for every Biñanense. Among his top priorities are the enhancement of Biñan City Hospital, strengthening of primary healthcare services, provision of free medical treatment, mental health support, and improved nutrition programs.

“We will make sure that no one is left behind when it comes to health. Every Biñanense must have access to honest, affordable, and compassionate medical care — from basic treatment to mental health support,” Alonte said. This initiative is part of the mayor’s broader vision to build a healthier, more inclusive, and people-centered community in Biñan City under his leadership.
