Taytay, Rizal – Rizal PPO led by PCOL FELIPE B MARAGGUN, Provincial Director conducted Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) and Communication Exercise (COMMEX) in preparation for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2023 held at Rizal PPO Command Center on October 23, 2023 at about 1:00 PM and was viewed through video live streaming using body worn cameras (BWCs) and drone surveillance .
Further, the said SIMEX and COMMEX conducted were witnessed by ATTY. ARNULFO H PIOQUINTO, Provincial Election Supervisor of Rizal and PCOL ROEL C RODOLFO, Deputy Regional Director for Operation, PRO4A.
Additionally, uniformed forces of AFP, PCG, BJMP, BFP and other government agencies served as observers during the whole duration of simulation exercises.
Cainta MPS, Taytay MPS and Antipolo CCPS together with Provincial Intelligence Unit performed possible pre-election, election day and post- election scenarios to test the multi-agencies response to such situations.
PCOL FELIPE MARAGGUN together with the participating police stations headed the response on evaluating the operational readiness and personnel’s responsiveness in circumstances or scenarios that could compromise the peace and order of BSKE 2023.
“Ang simulation na ito ay para ma ireview ninyo (Chief of Police) ang mga dapat na gagawin sa mismong araw ng eleksyon”-PCOL RODOLFO.
Finally, in his message, ATTY. PIOQUINTO expressed his gratitude to all agencies who participated in the conduct of this simulation exercise for BSKE 2023. He added that this simulation will mirror the success in maintaining a safe, accurate and fair election 2023.
