SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna – Mayor Arlene Arcillas expressed her deep appreciation for Enchanted Kingdom (EK), acknowledging the theme park as a cornerstone of the city’s identity.
“You bring us recognition and pride. Enchanted Kingdom isn’t just about magic—it’s about creating lasting memories for everyone who visits,” Mayor Arcillas said during EK’s 29th “Timeless Magic of Christmas” celebration on Saturday, November 23.
The event was marked by enchanting festivities, including the grand launch of the Grand Eldar’s Moonlight Parade, the ceremonial lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree, and the illumination of a traditional Filipino parol.
Dr. Cynthia R. Mamon, Ph.D., EK’s Chief Operations Officer (COO) highlighted the park’s enduring commitment to creating magical experiences for families—a legacy nearly three decades in the making.
“We’ve completed our master plan, which we’ll present to Mayor Arlene Arcillas as part of our ambitious expansion efforts,” Dr. Mamon announced. She also emphasized EK’s philanthropic contributions, sharing that a portion of proceeds from recent events has been allocated to support victims of the four typhoons that struck the country this year.
The celebration reached a high point as the crowd, led by Dr. Mamon, enthusiastically chanted EK’s signature motto: “Be the Magic. Be Enchanted.”
As the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines, Enchanted Kingdom is celebrated for its iconic attractions, including the Space Shuttle roller coaster, the Wheel of Fate Ferris wheel, and the Agila: The EKsperience flight motion simulator.
Looking forward to its 30th anniversary and beyond, Enchanted Kingdom continues to set its sights on delivering magical and unforgettable experiences for generations to come.
