The Professional Academic Review Center (PARC) has assured its reviewees, stakeholders, and partners that its operations remain uninterrupted amid reports linking the institution to an alleged complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman.
In a statement, PARC said it has yet to receive any subpoena or summons concerning the reported complaint, adding that it cannot confirm its validity or existence at this time. The institution said it is treating the matter seriously, citing concerns over its reputation and the potential impact of the allegations on its credibility.
During a press conference in Quezon City, Atty. Marion Bernardo S. Cerro, PARC legal officer, emphasized that the institution remains focused on its primary mission of helping students and professionals prepare for examinations and achieve their academic and career goals.
Cerro said PARC would rather demonstrate its credibility through its track record, review programs, and services than be drawn immediately into controversies surrounding the allegations.
He also pointed to the institution’s social media platforms, where its activities, services, and reported examination results can be viewed by the public.
PARC maintained that it operates within the bounds of the law and ethical academic practices, stressing that it does not condone corruption or any unlawful conduct.
The review center acknowledged that the reports may raise concerns among its reviewees and partners but reiterated that its review sessions and daily operations continue as usual.
Cerro said the institution is carefully reviewing the allegations and will consider appropriate action should it establish that the circumstances warrant such measures. He also raised concerns about what PARC perceives as potentially politically motivated actions against the institution.
Despite the controversy, PARC said it intends to remain focused on delivering its services and supporting examinees as they work toward passing their respective board examinations.
The institution also highlighted its review programs, experienced instructors, comprehensive learning materials, and flexible learning options as part of its commitment to helping reviewees achieve their professional aspirations.
For now, PARC is standing by its record and maintaining that its operations will continue while it assesses the reports surrounding the institution.
PARC’s message is clear: its operations continue, and its focus remains on the success of its reviewees.
