More than 400,000 residents of Quezon City’s first district have received direct aid through Rep. Juan Carlos “Arjo” Atayde’s Aksyon Agad program since 2022. In his State of the District Address (SODA) at SM City North Edsa’s Skydome, Atayde detailed the program’s impact across employment, education, health, youth development, disaster response, and infrastructure.
Extensive Assistance Across Sectors
Atayde highlighted the achievements of Aksyon Agad, which include:
- Employment: 11,498 individuals benefited from the TUPAD program, and 1,500 secured overseas jobs via the Taiwan Job Fair.
- Livelihood: 1,100 residents received training through TESDA and other initiatives, while 245 entrepreneurs got financial support.
- Healthcare: 60 patients receive daily dialysis at a facility that opened in October 2024, while 75,466 individuals received medical assistance.
- Education: 4,598 students were granted CHEd aid, 929 senior high students received allowances, and 1,410 scholars were supported through Tulong Dunong and SMART.

Additionally, 7,789 fire-affected families, 3,501 families needing burial aid, and 40,684 individuals requiring financial help were assisted.
Sports Development Initiatives
Atayde also underscored his support for youth sports, with 987 young athletes benefiting from the Aksyon Agad Sports Program. The Inter-Barangay Youth Program and Council League, launched in his first term, will expand to include badminton, chess, darts, and bowling next year.
Commitment to Public Service
Atayde reaffirmed his commitment to responsible governance, ensuring all allocated funds directly benefit constituents.
“Public service is not about grand gestures or sweet words—it’s about quick, effective, and genuine response to people’s needs,” he stated.
He concluded by thanking his wife Maine, his family, and his constituents for their trust, promising, “I won’t let you down.”
