CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA – The Department of Trade and Industry in Laguna joined hands with the Laguna Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc (LCCI) and Entrepz Ave in sharpening the understanding of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in today’s eCommerce and logistics scenarios thru the government initiatives.
Participants is from different trade and industries mainly within the Carmelray and nearby communities. The ideation took place at Entrepz Ave, The Junction Strip Mall, Carmelray Ave corner, Wisdom Ave, Calamba City, Laguna last July 27.
Present during the session who shared insights and welcomed and answered queries regarding the status of the eCommerce logistics industry were LCCI President Atty Rose Lynn Coloma, DTI Assistant Secretary and Digital Philippines and Ecommerce Lead Mary Jean Pacheco, USAID DELIVER Infrastructure Team Lead Prof. Roni Balbiera, Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines President Pierre Carlo Curay, Entrepz Ave Owner – Cafetalista and PAG-IBIG Board of Trustee Relly Fajardo, and DTI Laguna Acting Provincial Director Christian Ted Tungohan.
DTI Assistant Secretary Pacheco inspired the participating MSMEs on the progress in terms of the implementation of the Ecommerce Philippine 2022 Roadmap summarized in one Filipino word, “madali”. According to Pacheco, the Agency upholds its thrust to achieve the captured vision for Filipinos about our eCommerce: easy, simple, and fast. She also described the three main strategies, namely, Market Access, DigitAlization, and Logistics Integration.

Way back in 2018, DTI Laguna and Entrepz Ave opened its door to potential and existing MSMEs by launching a Negosyo Center Help Desk in order to provide optimum assistance to its clients.
