Despite the suspension of work in the National Capital Region announced by Malacañang due to the typhoon, including the Main Office, ORED IV-B, COMELEC NCR, and Region IV-A as directed by the Honorable Chairman and Executive Director, Chairman George Erwin M. Garcia and other senior COMELEC officials will still attend the Budget Hearing at the House of Representatives.
As stated by the Comelec Spokesperson, “All frontline services in the affected offices, including Voter’s Registration and the Issuance of Voter’s Certification, are suspended for today, September 3, 2024.”
The Budget Hearing is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
