A heartfelt community gathering brought warmth and hope to the residents of Barangay Cuyab as Congresswoman Ann Matibag personally delivered hot meals to families affected by recent calamities.
Together with Barangay Captain Mario Berroya Pastidio, Councilors Maida Minette Ambayec and LonLon S. Ambayec, the Zonta Club of Laguna, and Atty. Melvin Matibag, the congresswoman led the simple yet meaningful feeding initiative. The event served as a symbol of unity and genuine public service in times of need.

Labeled as a “table of hope,” the initiative went beyond merely distributing food. Each serving of rice and delicious viand came with a message of care and solidarity—reminding the beneficiaries that they are not alone in facing life’s challenges.
“In every story of unity, the warmth of heartfelt service is never absent,” said Congresswoman Matibag.
This initiative reflects the congresswoman’s continuing advocacy of responsive and compassionate leadership. Through strong collaboration with local officials and civic organizations, her office remains committed to uplifting lives, especially during times of hardship.
The event is a clear example of how coordinated local action can bring tangible support and comfort to those who need it most—paving the way for a better and more hopeful San Pedro City.
