For 19 years, CARD MRI Insurance Agency (CaMIA) has been helping Filipino families prepare for life’s uncertainties by providing affordable and accessible insurance protection.
A member institution of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), CaMIA celebrated its 19th anniversary on August 4, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to building resilient communities and providing families with a reliable safety net when unexpected challenges arise.
“As CARD MRI’s insurance arm, our goal is to build resilient communities and provide a reliable safety net for all,” said CaMIA President and General Manager Vener S. Abellera.
The agency’s nearly two decades of service have resulted in more than 2.4 million policies issued. As of June 2026, CaMIA had issued 2,418,051 policies worth PHP 1.709 billion and settled 135,937 claims amounting to PHP 648.18 million.
For Abellera, these figures represent more than just numbers. They reflect the families and individuals who received financial protection when they needed it most.
“As we look back over the years, we are proud to have secured millions of individuals in times of need,” Abellera said, adding that CaMIA will continue to respond swiftly whenever clients require assistance.
CaMIA provides life and non-life microinsurance, as well as traditional insurance products, complementing the efforts of other CARD MRI institutions in strengthening communities.
After 19 years, CaMIA’s mission remains clear: protect families today so they can face tomorrow with greater confidence and resilience.
