Los Baños, Laguna – Eleven clusters from Batangas, Laguna, and Rizal participated in a comprehensive Training on Operations Manual, organized by the Department of Agriculture – IV Calabarzon (DA-4A) Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program. The training took place from August 7 to 8 at the Boy Scouts of the Philippines facility in Los Baños, Laguna.
The primary goal of the training was to equip the clusters with the skills needed to prepare their operations manuals, which will serve as a guide and standard for their business processes. Participants were instructed on key elements of drafting the manual, including creating an Organizational Chart with Job Descriptions, managing Production Schedules, setting Employment Policies and Benefits, documenting Processes and Systems, establishing Emergency Procedures, and implementing Quality Control Procedures.
At the end of the training, each cluster had the opportunity to present their completed outputs, receive feedback, and discuss suggestions and recommendations with peers and F2C2 staff. Engr. Redelliza Gruezo, OIC-RTD for Operations and Extension, expressed gratitude for the continued efforts of all participants in striving for the success of the clusters in the region.
