CAMP CAPINPIN, Rizal – A total of 150 new soldiers/ troops of the 2nd Infantry “Jungle Fighter” Division graduated from their Infantry Orientation Course training in a ceremony held at Camp Capinpin in Tanay, Rizal on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The activity, which was led by 2ID Commander Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong was graced by Mr. Francisco Ashley L. Acedillo, the Chief of Staff of the Office of Senator Francis N. Tolentino who represented the latter. Composed of 142 males and 8 females, the INFOC “Kalasag” Class 07-2023 finished hurdling its 8-week rigorous INFOC training
for the newly enlisted privates to adapt to combined arms operations and respond to other nature of Infantry operations in different combat environments.
During his remarks, the 2ID Commander Maj. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong
congratulated the newly enlisted privates for finishing their basic military training and INFOC training consecutively.
He also emphasized the significance of their role in safeguarding the nation’s security and promoting peace and urged the graduates to uphold the values of honor, duty, and loyalty as they join the ranks of the Division.
