Aspirant Batangas Governor Miker Rivera expressed confidence in his chosen running mate for Vice Governor, current Governor Dodo Mandanas, despite public confusion over whether Mandanas supports Rivera or fellow aspirant Jay Manalo Ilagan in the 2025 elections.
During a press conference held at the celebration of the Kabakahan Festival in Padre Garcia, where Mandanas was a guest and even joined the parade, Rivera shared his insights about Mandanas’ character and way of thinking.

Rivera expressed his vision to transform Batangas into a prosperous and thriving province, similar to how he developed Padre Garcia under his leadership.
Mandanas, for his part, stated that he was grateful to be invited by Rivera as his running mate and gladly accepted the offer.
“I am truly thankful to Michael for inviting me and for accepting me as his Vice Governor. If we both win, we will be a strong team,” Mandanas said.
