Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South) reaffirmed its commitment to community development by donating 900 school supply kits to public schools across Cavite and Parañaque as part of the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025 campaign, held from June 9 to 11.
With this year’s Brigada Eskwela theme, “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” MPT South extended support to students and families in preparation for the 2025–2026 academic year. The donation aimed to help ease the financial burden on parents while ensuring students begin the school year equipped and ready to learn.

The initiative reached schools across various cities and municipalities, including Imus, Silang, General Trias, Kawit, Bacoor, and Parañaque. Among the recipient schools were:
- Imus: Alapan II-A and II-B Elementary Schools, Malagasang II-B Barangay Hall, and Hipolito Saquilayan High School
- Silang: Tibig Elementary School
- General Trias: Cecilio M. Saliba Elementary School, General Trias Memorial Elementary School, and Governor Ferrer Memorial Integrated National High School
- Kawit: Florante Ilano Elementary School and Binakayan National High School
- Parañaque: San Dionisio Elementary School, Sto. Niño Elementary School, and Perville Daycare Center Moonwalk
- Bacoor: Salinas Elementary School and Longos Elementary School
Each student received a school kit containing essential supplies such as notebooks, pad paper, ballpens, and crayons—items aimed at fostering enthusiasm and readiness for the new school year.
A key highlight of the three-day donation drive was the turnover ceremony at Salinas Elementary School, which coincided with the official launch of Brigada Eskwela 2025 in Bacoor City. The event was graced by Cavite 2nd District Representative Lani Mercado Revilla, who expressed her gratitude to MPT South and its subsidiary, CAVITEX:
“Taos-puso akong nagpapasalamat sa CAVITEX para sa kanilang aktibong pakikilahok sa Brigada Eskwela dito sa Bacoor. Malaking tulong ang inyong suporta at volunteer work sa paghahanda ng ating mga paaralan para sa ligtas at maayos na pagbabalik ng ating mga mag-aaral. Maraming salamat, CAVITEX! Sama-sama, tulong-tulong, para sa mga paaralan ng Bacoor!”
MPT South Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management, Arlette V. Capistrano, emphasized the company’s broader commitment to community upliftment:
“We believe that our role in nation-building goes beyond the roads and expressways we build. It also means supporting the communities we operate in—especially the students who represent the future of those communities. Brigada Eskwela has always been a meaningful way for us to give back.”
The donation drive is part of MPT South’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, which span education, environmental sustainability, road safety, and livelihood programs—further demonstrating the company’s dedication to inclusive and impactful development.
