The Laguna Event Expo 2025 officially opened its doors on Friday, August 22, at the Calamba Tent, marking a historic first for the province’s events and celebrations industry. The expo aims to position Laguna as a leading destination for conventions, festivals, and tourism-related gatherings in the country.

The event was made possible through the strong backing of the Provincial Government of Laguna, led by Governor Sol Aragones, and supported by key industry partners, exhibitors, and creatives across the region.

In her keynote message, Governor Aragones reaffirmed the provincial government’s full support for the local events sector, recognizing its growing contribution to tourism and economic development.

“Ang Provincial Government po ng Laguna ay naka-suporta sa ating event sector. Tutulungan po namin kayo,” she stated.

The event also highlighted the vision behind the expo, with Laguna Event Expo Head Grace Garcera describing the initiative as a collective movement rather than just a one-time gathering.

“This is more than an event — it’s a movement with intent: uniting Laguna advocates to make Laguna the next Celebration Destination,” Garcera said.

One of the key venue partners, Dr. Joji Juliano, Events Head of the CMC Group’s Calamba Tent, expressed pride in hosting the event after months of preparation, emphasizing its long-term impact.

“This is not the last — this is just the beginning.”

The expo featured 76 exhibitors from various sectors, including event management, tourism, business solutions, and the creative industries. It served as a dynamic platform for networking, showcasing local talents, and strengthening the province’s events ecosystem.

Among the event highlights were the Laguna Cake Artist Competition and cultural performances from the Calamba City School for the Arts, which reflected Laguna’s rich heritage and artistic talent.

Beyond the exhibitions and performances, the event also served as a venue for collaboration among government officials, tourism stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. Key discussions focused on sustaining the growth of the events sector, promoting innovation, and encouraging partnerships between public and private sectors.

The Laguna Event Expo 2025 signals a strategic move toward economic recovery and tourism revitalization, with the province taking an active role in shaping a vibrant, celebration-driven identity.

With strong institutional support, enthusiastic participation from local entrepreneurs, and a clear vision for the future, Laguna is well on its way to becoming one of the country’s most dynamic hubs for events and tourism.
