On the first day of Brigada Eskwela 2025, Congresswoman Ann Matibag personally visited several public schools in San Pedro to deliver assistance and assess the condition of classrooms in need of repairs or renovation.

This initiative is part of the Congresswoman’s ongoing advocacy to improve the quality of education in the city through meaningful infrastructure projects. One of her main goals is to help build better and more comfortable schools, particularly classrooms equipped with air-conditioning units, to enhance both student learning and teacher performance.

“My dream as a mother is simple: for every San Pedronian child to have a safe, comfortable, and well-equipped school—where they can focus on their studies, listen to their teachers, and truly learn. A place where teachers can teach with all their heart, and parents feel at ease,” shared Congresswoman Ann Matibag during her recent school visit.

Congresswoman Matibag, joined by Dr. Danilo V. Ayap, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lyceum of Alabang – San Pedro Campus, led the donation of school chairs to Pacita Complex National High School. The initiative is part of their commitment to improving learning conditions in public schools.

In addition, the Zonta Club of Laguna, headed by its President, Ann Matibag, donated a Smart TV to the school to support its efforts toward digital learning and modern classroom technology.

School Principal Ms. Janette B. Senarillos, along with the Officers of the School Parents-Teachers Association led by President Mhara Amandi, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support extended by Congresswoman Matibag, Dr. Ayap, and the Zonta Club of Laguna.

This initiative forms part of the annual Brigada Eskwela, a program that highlights how the government, private sector, and civic organizations can come together to create a better and brighter future for the youth.

With continuous support under the banner of Alagang LaguNanay, San Pedro moves closer to a cleaner, more modern, and student-centered educational environment—paving the way for a better tomorrow.
