Another restaurant concept inspired by the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco California is now at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay Batangas.
This new food outlet, called The Pier Lakeside Bar and Restaurant opened before a jam-packed crowd at 5PM on Saturday.
Located at the property’s lake side, this outdoor seafoods and grill resto-bar offers a million-dollar view of the picturesque Taal Volcano.
The Pier Lakeside Bar and Restaurant is operated and manned by a team of industry experts in hotel and restaurant management (each boasting some 15 plus years in experience), top billed by Jona Agrazada – a reputable name in the hotel industry.
A welcome alternative to the crowded Tagaytay City, this new establishment “is the property’s response to guests clamoring for that perfect combination of relaxing outdoor, cold beverages, hot and fresh from the grill food and good service,” said Agrazada.
Its rustic yet cool setting sends out merely chill vibes and shuns any air of intimidation, allowing guests to just enjoy some peace and quiet – “either for that needed me time or some intimate bonding with family or friends,” adds Agrazada.
As the mere mention of the pier or pantalan brings to mind mouth-watering seafood finds, The Pier will offer mostly seafoods, “fresh and straight from the seafoods capital of Roxas City. Agrazada added.
In a side interview with one of the managing partners Kiel Cabusao, he shared to Southpost, that they got the concept inspiration while traveling in California.
“We’ve seen the opportunity to develop the place and got an inspiration from Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, so we wanted to be a lakeside pier that serves fresh sea foods.”
On the other hand, Club Balai Isabel owner Cecille Arenas Terible is happy to note of the additional dining option inside their leisure facility. “It offers seafoods, which everyone likes, fresh from the seafoofs capital of Roxas city, she adds.
Meanwhile, Talisay Mayor Nestor Natanauan present on the grand opening supporting the newest resto in town.
“Congratulations to The Pier Lakeside Bar and Restaurant, wishing you all the best.” Talisay Mayor lauded.
