“Christmas in Calamba: A Celebration of Hope, Unity

Christmas in Calamba, Laguna, embodies hope, unity, and joy, especially in challenging times. This year, the city’s festive spirit was marked by the simultaneous lighting of giant Christmas trees in various sites  symbolizing the community’s resilience and shared hope.

The grand lighting ceremony at the Jose Rizal Plaza highlighted by a fireworks display, brought the community together in celebration.

The Calambazaar added to the festive atmosphere, offering a space for locals to bond over food and shopping.

The historic Christmas tree at the Old Plaza, near Rizal’s house, linked the holiday spirit with the city’s rich heritage. Despite recent calamities, the celebrations emphasized that Christmas is about faith, family, and unity, with the light of the season guiding the people of Calamba through adversity.
