Motorists using the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3 will begin paying toll fees starting August 9, 2026, following the approval of the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).
The 7.88-kilometer segment, which connects the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite, has been toll-free since it opened on May 4. It has served nearly 9,000 motorists daily, providing commuters, workers, students, and businesses with a faster alternative to congested local roads.
Under the approved toll rates, motorists traveling from the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive will pay:
- Class 1: P35
- Class 2: P70
- Class 3: P106
For motorists traveling from Governor’s Drive in General Trias to Greenfield in Laguna, the toll rates will be:
- Class 1: P117
- Class 2: P234
- Class 3: P351
With the opening of Subsection 3, the operational length of CALAX has expanded to 26 kilometers, beginning at the Greenfield-Mamplasan Entry in Biñan, Laguna.
The expressway was developed to provide a faster and more efficient route for motorists while helping decongest major local roads in Cavite’s rapidly growing industrial and residential areas.
Once fully completed, CALAX is projected to accommodate as many as 65,000 vehicles daily, further improving the movement of people, goods, and services between Cavite, Laguna, and Southern Metro Manila.
The expressway is expected to play a key role in strengthening regional connectivity, reducing travel time, easing traffic congestion, and supporting economic activity across the CALABARZON region.
