Demonstrating strong commitment to public service, the Lone District Representative of Biñan has filed eight (8) proposed bills and one (1) resolution in the current session of the House of Representatives.

Among the key legislative efforts is a resolution urging action on one of the pressing environmental concerns in the region: the regular flooding caused by the overflowing of Laguna Lake. The resolution proposes dredging or deepening of the lake as a viable solution, with the added goal of improving water quality in the lake.

“This is a serious issue not only for Biñan but for all cities and municipalities surrounding Laguna Lake. Heavy rains brought by typhoons or monsoon seasons consistently cause flooding, and this resolution is a step toward a long-term solution,” the lawmaker stated.

The eight proposed bills filed by the representative cover a range of national and local concerns:

  1. Expanded Family Code Reform Act – Aims to strengthen the rights and protections of Filipino families through updates to existing family laws.
  2. Online Gambling Prohibition Act – Seeks to ban online gambling to protect citizens, especially the youth, from its social and economic harms.
  3. Administrative Support Claims Act of 2025 – Ensures government administrative personnel receive due benefits and support.
  4. Biñan Heritage Zone Act – Proposes the declaration of certain areas in Biñan as a heritage zone to preserve the city’s rich history and culture.
  5. An Act Providing for the Apportionment of the Lone Legislative District of Biñan City, Laguna – Addresses representation concerns in the city’s legislative district.
  6. An Act Amending Section 24 of the National Internal Revenue Code, as Amended – Proposes reforms related to taxation.
  7. An Act Amending Sections 15 and 16 of Republic Act 10071 (National Prosecution Service Act of 2010) – Seeks to enhance the structure and resources of the country’s prosecution service.
  8. An Act Amending Article 365 of Act No. 3815 (Revised Penal Code), as Amended – Introduces amendments to laws related to reckless imprudence and its penalties.

Together, these measures reflect the representative’s dedication to meaningful legislative reform and his vision for a safer, more just, and progressive society — both locally in Biñan and throughout the country.
