CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — The Police Regional Office (PRO) Calabarzon has launched a pioneering mobile app aimed at enhancing and streamlining police services. Named the P.O.W.E.R. Services App, which stands for “Protect Our Community’s Well-being through Effective Services and Response,” this innovative platform offers a wide range of police-related services.
During the “Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas” event at Camp Gen. Vicente Lim Multi-Purpose Hall, PBGen Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, regional director of PRO Calabarzon, showcased the app’s capabilities. He detailed that the app allows users to request emergency help, report crimes, file complaints, apply for clearances and permits, access safety tips, and engage with the community.
The P.O.W.E.R. Services App features 12 core functionalities: emergency assistance, PNP internal services, tourist destinations, downloadable resources, community engagement, Bagong Pilipinas services, public safety information, various tools, public advisories, the RD’s Corner, news and updates, and Calabarzon events. It provides access to 83 different services from government, PNP, and other agencies, and is available for Android devices.
PBGen Lucas stressed that the app plays a crucial role in their efforts to boost public safety and security through advanced mobile technology, enabling faster and more effective responses from law enforcement, partner agencies, and local government units.
The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple Store and installed on Android devices. Users must agree to the privacy policy before accessing their chosen services from the main menu.
Lucas assured that all personal information provided through the app will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
