The 9 Dynasty Group, a business collective active across Asia, has donated P3 million worth of relief goods to victims of recent typhoons in Kawit, Cavite. The donation, aimed at aiding families affected by Typhoon Carina and Tropical Storm Kristine, was delivered last week to at least 1,000 displaced families in Barangay Santa Isabel.
Led by their representative Derris Wong, the 9 Dynasty Group distributed essential supplies, including canned goods, rice, noodles, bed sheets, and other necessities. “At 9 Dynasty, we believe that in times like these, being there for one another is what matters most,” said Derris Wong, emphasizing the group’s commitment to community support.
Kawit, along with other areas in Cavite, was heavily impacted by the twin storms in October, which caused severe flooding and displaced many residents. In response, the 9 Dynasty Group organized a donation drive, bringing two large trucks filled with relief goods to the barangay, located near Metro Manila.
“We are here together to rebuild lives and transform this adversity into a story of hope,” Derris Wong said during the distribution event at the barangay complex. “We want to show you that even after the storm, there is always hope. We are providing ₱3 million in aid to help these families rebuild their homes and ensure they have a safe place to stay as the holiday season approaches.”
The relief operation was coordinated by Barangay Captain Avelino “Tamby” Fallago, his secretary Josephine Memije, and VAWC personnel Remie Santonil. “We are incredibly grateful for the 9 Dynasty Group’s generosity and the support they have provided to our community,” Captain Fallago stated on behalf of the barangay.
Through this initiative, the 9 Dynasty Group’s 9 Dynasty Cares program continues to offer hope and relief to those in need, reaffirming their dedication to supporting communities during times of crisis.
